Platinum signs L200 Triton’s new campaign

The new campaign for the Mitsubishi L200 Triton is neat. For maximum reality, its creators Humberto Fernandez and Erico Braga wanted to photograph the truck in the middle of the oxen, instead of putting them in post-production. 
Well, the studio's first concern was with the car. A truck in the middle of a herd would certainly be scratched and suffer damage, but the client agreed. After all, isn’t the campaign to say that the truck can take anything? And it did! In the end, the car was intact. The cattle were afraid of it, who would have thought. And since a herd is not as easy to direct as models, the studio had to improve the image in post-production. More than one image was used to compose the final picture and smoke was inserted to give more movement and beauty.

Another part of the L200 Triton campaign was the picture of the truck in the middle of a soybean field. All agreed that the car would be photographed in the middle of a real plantation, but you can’t predict everything. As it turned out, it wasn’t the right time of the year for soybean! There was no way to photograph it. This one had to be done with Stock photos - Another surprise. Most image banks are not brazilian and since soy is a very brazilian product, there were practically no images available. After a lot of searching, we did find images that could be used and the end result can be checked here!

Platinum assina a nova campanha da L200 Triton 

A nova campanha da Mitsubishi para a L200 Triton está caprichada. Em busca do máximo de realidade, seus criadores Humberto Fernandez e Erico Braga quiseram fotografar a caminhonete no meio dos bois, nada de colocá-los na pós-produção. 
Bom, a primeira preocupação do estúdio foi com o carro. Uma caminhonete no meio de uma boiada certamente seria arranhada e sofreria danos, mas o cliente também concordou. Afinal, a campanha é para dizer que a caminhonete encara tudo, não é? E encarou! No final das contas, o carro ficou intacto. Quem diria, os bois ficaram com medo dele. E como uma boiada não é tão fácil de dirigir quanto modelos, o estúdio ainda teve que dar uma aperfeiçoada na pós-produção. Mais de uma imagem foi utilizada para compor a boiada final e uma fumaça foi inserida para dar mais movimento e beleza na imagem.

Outra parte da campanha da L200 Triton foi a foto da caminhonete no meio de uma plantação de soja. Tudo acertado para que o carro fosse fotografado no meio de uma plantação de verdade, mas imprevistos sempre acontecem. Não estávamos na época da soja! Não havia como fotografá-los. Esse teve de ser feito com imagens de banco - Outra surpresa. A maioria dos bancos de imagem não são brasileiros e como a soja é um produto bem brasileiro, praticamente não havia imagens disponíveis. Depois de muita ralação, encontramos imagens que puderam ser utilizadas e o resultado final pode ser conferido aqui!

Remember the campaign for OI HD TV that Platinum closed with NBS?

Well, the campaign is already on the streets and doing a great success! The idea is that with OI HD TV the image "will arrive in your home looking gorgeous." The actor from Globo Tv is Marcelo Serrado and the images can be checked here.
